A tale of cross cultural and intergenerational dialogue among a rising class of female executives tackling art, science, space, and technology.
I recently had the pleasure of accepting an invitation to speak about women in leadership with a Hong Kong based publication.
While there were many topics we broached, the gist of it can be summed up as this:
“We cannot envision a different future if we do not recognize, acknowledge, and harmonize the nuanced shape of female leadership in business environments as the empowerment of male leadership; they are the ying and yang of harmony in a state of existential crisis for the species.
From decision making to conflict resolution, strategic planning, scaling and growth, intentionally designing a company culture requires what I call “Quantum Coherence” — a balancing of energies between the needs and contributions of team members, divisions and other partners.
In our current environment, trust, access to information and the ability to pivot at speed are the markers of swift adaptation to continually changing parameters. As global leaders take note, the rules of the post-industrial age are being re-written. With the need for time sensitive decision making with little to no information, it becomes a requisite to cultivate an intuitive sense — a ‘feminine knowing’ — and a counter sense to reflect on the biases of this higher intelligence....
